Post-graduate Studies
Advanced Shiatsu I This 50 hour course will include study of moxibustion, extra meridians, advanced postures and techniques. The use of ointments, liniments and creams will also be taught. Prerequisite: 500 hour Shiatsu Diploma Program. Advanced Shiatsu II This 50 hour post graduate course includes further study of hara assessment and treatment principles, continuous movement techniques, advanced assessments and practical technique. Prerequisite: 500 hour Shiatsu Diploma Program. Advanced Shiatsu III This 50 hour course is a study of the treatment of syndromes and diseases using Shiatsu therapy. Common ailments such as insomnia, backache and hypertension as well as chronic diseases will be covered. Emotional factors contributing to and influencing the disease process will also be covered. Relevant theory and practical application will be covered. Prerequisite: 500 hour Shiatsu Diploma Program. For details please see the fallowing documents. Advanced Shiatsu III - Page 1 Advanced Shiatsu III - Page 2 Post Graduate Classes - Ongoing Workshops and Retreats Workshops are offered on a monthly basis in a 3 hour format. A wide range of applicable topics is covered. Classes are practical with relevant theory being presented. Living Earth Shiatsu also offers Shiatsu retreats through out the year.
